Angelica Panganiban, a Filipino American model and actress who is also a TV hostess and comedian. Panganiban was dubbed as the Queen of Drama by various media. Being the youngest contestant ever to compete on the show and second in the show's history, she placed 2nd. Angelica Hale fell ill at age four with strep throat and pneumonia due to an infection caused by a bacteria. Children's Healthcare of Atlanta Egleston placed her on ECMO an intervention that saved her life. The patient became septic and suffered several organ failures, including her kidneys, which failed to recover. Her new norm was hemodialyses as well as peritoneal dialysis. Over the course of the 80 days she was in the Hospital, the life of her changed forever. Angelica was on dialysis for more than a decade and half of that time before she was able to undergo her kidney transplant. Her mother was the sole person who was able to donate an organ. Angelica Hale had a successful renal transplantation with her mother on the 13th September 2013. The surgery was performed at Emory University Hospital, and Children's Healthcare of Atlanta Egleston. Angelica Hale is pursuing her stardom dreams ever since.
